Mile Stone Ranch
Milestone Ranch is a residential program in the Texas Hill Country that supports young adults transitioning out of the foster care system. Set on a working cattle ranch, it provides a safe and encouraging environment where residents can build confidence, responsibility, and life skills through hands-on work and mentorship.
Rooted in faith and community, Milestone Ranch is focused on helping each individual discover their purpose and move toward a stable, meaningful future. Through strong relationships and daily support, the program equips young people to thrive and become positive contributors to the world around them.
Shine Together
Shine Together is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving students and families experiencing food insecurity in Johnson County and beyond. Through its Project 66 program, Shine Together provides free, fully stocked grocery stores directly on high school campuses, making it easy for students to access nutritious food in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment.
Driven by community generosity, volunteers, and local partnerships, Shine Together works to meet urgent needs while offering hope and encouragement to young people. By ensuring students have the resources they need to stay healthy and focused, the organization helps remove barriers to success and creates opportunities for students and families to thrive.
